Who the F*Ck are Future Vintage?...Part 2!

This week it's Lisa's turn, hair stylist, Make up Artist and other half of the creators of FV.

Lisa met Claire during a make up training course but this talented lady also had a passion for hair and vintage style, owning her salon in Linlithgow high street for over 12 years. Here is a little bit more about the lady behind the chair..

Favourite Band? Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Bowie and anything 80's.

What inspired you to get into hairdressing? Definitely my creative instinct and love of people- the idea of a conventional job was not for me. I've always loved creating looks and seeing people happy. Make Up was a natural progression, which became a second passion.

How was Future Vintage born? Long chats on the train and maybe a few bottles of wine?! Out of those chats though we found that we both wanted to offer a first class service primarily out with a salon environment and our focus soon became our wonderful brides. The makeup lounge within my salon Chakirs is also a great base for trials, masterclasses and local wedding parties. Having the best of both worlds we knew we could offer something unique.

Favourite Bridal Hair? Loving Boho looks, flowers in hair..And also in contrast really structured vintage looks.

Favourite Hair Stylist Sharon Blain, for her artistic flair. Go check her out now!

Favourite Bridal make up product? Sara Hill foundation is my absolute must- cruelty free, sheer satin finish that is also buildable. It's just amazing!

Biggest Style Icon? I'm a bit like what Future Vintage stands for as I've always been influenced by the best of old and new.

Where do you see FV in 5 years? With a team of talented hair and make up artists throughout Scotland and Claire and I doing destination weddings.. And lastly...

Favourite Cocktail? An espresso martini- two of my favourite things, coffee and alcohol...
