"POWER OF THE RED LIPSTICK"

A personal favourite of mine, couldn't live without it, but hey who doesn't love a red lippy!!

Cool story.... In 1912 the suffragettes where marching in New York for the women's right to vote. Along came Elizabeth Arden, beauty business entrepreneur, in a defiant bold move she took it upon herself to hand out her red lipsticks to the suffragettes, which drew quite a stir to their demonstrations.

So a high five to these woman who lead the way to our future generations, who taught us to stand tall, fight for what we believe in and strive towards our dreams.

So tomorrow morning when I reach for my red lipstick I will silently salute my fellow red lipped sisters past and present xx
